What is Paint by Number ?

Since the 1950’s , Paint by Number is known as an artform by filling in pre-numbered areas on a canvas with the matching colours. This art form has been trending since and we provide you these designs in kit form.

What is included in a Paint by Number Artist kit?

Every kit contains everything you need to get started. Each kit contains a prenumbered canvas , all the necessary paint for your design , a high quality paint brush and super easy-to-follow instructions. All you need are water and tissue paper to clean your paint brush after use.

What size artwork is available in the Paint by Number Artist kits?

Paint by Number canvases are 16” x 20” either in horizontal or vertical formats depending on the artwork.

Do I need to know how to blend colours or mix colours to complete a Paint by Number?

Don’t worry. Paint by Number is designed in such way that every colour is already provided to you ! No need to blend or mix any colours. As an example of painting a tiger , all the values of light and dark orange are provided.

How long does it take to complete a Paint by Number Artist painting ?

This is depended on the complexity of the kit and the size of the artwork. This form of art is very relaxing and can be completed within a couple of days , or within a month of short sessions. This is completely up to the individual.

How long does it take for a Paint by Number Artist painting to dry?

This depends on the artwork and the type of paint provided in the kit. Acrylic paint usually dries within 5 minutes while oil paint can take up to a 1 hour. 

Should I clean my brush when I am switching colours?

Yes after switching colours you will need to clean your paintbrush. To clean the paintbrush just rinse the paintbrush in a container of water. 

What should I do with my completed Paint by Number Artist painting ?

Not only will you enjoy the process of painting , but after completing your Paint By Number it can be enjoyed for many years.

How long does it take for an order to arrive?

Most of our products are custom-made and printed on demand. It usually takes a few days for your order to get printed and shipped. In some cases, it takes 2 weeks for your order to reach your address.  

Where is my tracking number?

You will get a tracking number once your order has been shipped. You can check on the status of your order at any time by using the tracking number and tracking link we sent in email notification. 

I messed up my order information, can I change it?

Contact us as soon as possible at support@paintbynumberartist.com and we might be able to adjust your order. Unfortunately, we can't make changes if an order has been shipped already.

I ordered multiple items, why did I receive only one?

Since our products are "printed on demand", when you order multiple products at a time, they may be shipped separately. So don't panic if you don't receive all of your items at once, they are on the way.
